Registered psychologist specialising in leadership development, based in Melbourne, Australia.

Hi, I’m Justine

I’ve been fascinated by why and how people change their behaviour for as long as I can remember.

That curiosity led me to become a psychologist and pursue two master's degrees - one in Organisational Psychology, to understand human behaviour in the workplace through a systemic lens, and the other in Positive Psychology, to support growth through an applied, strengths-based approach.

Over the past two decades, I’ve worked across nearly every facet of leadership development - assessment, program design, facilitation, and coaching. I started out in psychometric testing, then moved in-house to support some of Australia’s largest organisations in shaping their culture, talent, and leadership capability. I later led strategic people projects in the management consulting industry, where I held senior leadership roles and headed up award-winning teams.

Why I founded La Roche Leadership

In 2020, I founded La Roche Leadership to focus on the problem I’m most passionate about solving: closing the knowing-doing gap in leadership.

It’s the challenge so many organisations face - not a lack of knowledge, but a lack of behaviour change. I help leaders move from insight to action with solutions grounded in psychology, tailored to context, and designed to deliver results.

I work with organisations big and small - across sectors like retail, hospitality, education, healthcare, utilities, mining and resources, and financial and professional services. Whether I’m creating a leadership strategy or framework, designing a leadership program, facilitating a workshop, or mentoring an internal L&D team, my approach remains both strategic and practical, ensuring that I’m the best ‘thinking and doing’ partner for you.

Some of my favourite feedback? That I “have a rare ability to bridge research and reality.”
